It’s a brand new year. What are your hopes and dreams for it? It’s always a good idea to have some kind of direction in mind at the start of each year. All too often, we meander aimlessly through each month and, before you know it, the year is over. Twelve months filled with promise and opportunity are gone, just like that. And we’re left disappointed, or even sad.
2009 is over, for better or for worse, so there’s no point dwelling on it. Time to make the most of 2010. This is what I’d like to accomplish before the end of this year:
Better Health For Me & My Family
I don’t want to see sickness darken our doorstep at all this year. This will require a lot more discipline, lifestyle changes and alertness.
Continued Weight Loss For Me
Isn’t this everyone’s new year resolution? Thankfully, I have been losing weight gradually, by practising simple good habits like regular exercising and healthy eating. This year, I hope to reach my ideal weight. I was diagnosed with estrogen-dominant breast cancer, and estradiol – the most dangerous form of estrogen – is found in fat cells. The less fat I carry, the better.
Isn’t this also everyone’s new year resolution? Someone once told me that there was good debt and there was bad debt. A home mortgage is supposed to be an example of good debt. Well, you know what, I don’t want any kind of debt at all. This is why I’ve been working on building up several work-from-home businesses. They include an online jewelry store as well as an anti-cancer health supplements and personal care products business. Both businesses, ideal for anyone looking for work-from-home income, are getting stronger and stronger. I’m determined to make this the best year yet for all my online businesses. Valentine’s Day is just over five weeks away, and I’ve got a whole bunch of new products to upload to my websites.
Teach Others How To Start An Online Business
My husband and I enjoy sharing information and helping others to succeed. People, especially those who want to make extra money working from home, keep asking us to teach them how to run online businesses. Looks like the never-ending cycle of recessions and lay-offs has shaken many. This year, we hope to start a basic series of workshops to help more people get started. There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing somebody succeed with their own business. What’s that old saying? If you give someone a fish, they eat for a day. If you teach them how to fish, they eat for a lifetime.
Start A Cancer Support Group In My Neighborhood
People dealing with cancer need support in so many ways. I have learned a lot in my own cancer journey. I’d like to be of help in whatever way I can. Perhaps someone’s life can be made easier, and less lonely, because of my simple efforts. When we leave this mortal world, what kind of legacy will we leave behind? Are we making a difference in our lives?
The first week of this brand new year is almost gone. Time to get cracking!
